activities after you review the How to Register for an Activity page.  If you are registering a child for a program that has a resident / non-resident fee, please note that the child must live in the Town of Rhinebeck to qualify for the resident rate.  You will be asked to show proof of child's residency.  A driver's license, utility bill, property tax bill or lease agreement with the physical address are acceptable forms of verification for the household. However, please note that you also need to show that the participant lives at the same address, so verification must be presented in the form of a medical or school document with the participant/child's name with the same address.

When paying online there will be a convenience fee added to you registration. Please note the terms. It is to your advantage to pay for as many items at one time as possible to avoid paying multiple fees. Checks must be payable to the Town of Rhinebeck and mailed to 80 East Market Street Rhinebeck, NY 12572 or delivered to the same address between the hours of 9am and 5pm Monday through Friday.  Please be advised that the Town of Rhinebeck has a NO REFUND policy.  


*Camp Director:
Oversees the summer camp program. Supervises camp counselors from June through August, when the season ends. Must have CPR and First Aid training.
*Camp Counselors:
Supervise campers and engage children in activities designed by the Camp Director for the 2018 summer program. Must have First Aid training.
*Aquatics Director:
Oversees swim lessons and lifeguards, and is present during hours of summer camp to assess campers’ swimming levels/abilities for safety. Hours are 8am - 4pm Mon. - Fri. during camp sessions (7 weeks, June - August). Must have Lifeguard certification (preferably WSI), Lifeguard Management Course certification, and be over the age of 21.
*WSI Lifeguards:
FT/PT positions available. Instruct in all levels of swim lessons according to American Red Cross Standards. Must have WSI certification and current CPR certification.
FT/PT positions open from weekends starting Memorial Day then daily starting June 25th to Labor Day. Must have Lifeguard course certification and current CPR certification.
*Assistant Swim Team Coaches
Work with specific age groups under the direction of the Head Coach.
*Health Director
Oversees health screening of campers.  Must be a NYS licensed physician, nurse practitioner, physician assistant, registered nurse, licensed practical nurse, or emergency medical technician.
